Composition: Superfine refined ferro phosphorus
Application
Recommended application:
As a supplement for zinc-rich paint; welding purpose in automobile and equipment manufacturing; applicable to the coating of priming painting, adhesion, sealant, coil; shielding layer against electromagnetic interference; additive in powder metallurgy.
Concrete application:
(1)Coating: As a partial substitute of zinc powder (35% calculated as weight).
(2)Weldable coating: It enables single layer or multi-layer coating with the weldablility, applicable to the coating of priming painting, adhesion, sealant, coil, etc.
(3)Conducting coating: enable the coating with electric-conducting and thermal-conducting performances.
(4)Shielding layer: against electromagnetic interference as a partial replacement of nickel pigment or copper pigment shielding layer (30% calculated as weight).
(5)Additive in powder metallurgy: capable of lowering sintering temperature and promoting press-forming efficiency and increase the wet strength of non-sintering dust.

1. Due to the wide quality range of ferro phosphorus powder in the market, you need to choose products produced by legitimate companies to avoid poor purity and content affecting the performance.
2. If Si, S, Mn, C in ferro phosphorus powder are a little higher, the electrical conductivity and electrochemical capacity of zinc dust paint will be affected. So please notice the ferro phosphorus powder supplementation in formulation design of zinc dust paint according to the test result.
3. Surface treatment of substrate is a key factor that determines the performance of the coating adhesion. In order to ensure the full contact of zinc powder and ferro phosphorus powder to make conductive electricity effect and antirust effect work well, the substrate surface have to be clean without water, oil or any other pollutant, especially oil and greas.
